Alto Country Club

ALTO GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB, located the quaint fishing village of Alvor, in Portugal’s Western Algarve, is a premier golf and country club resort, set in beautifully landscaped gardens, with villas, apartments and townhouses, many with superb views of the sea, the golf course or the fabulous gardens.

The country club has a combination of luxury villas and apartments, set around stunningly landscaped gardens.

Facilities include a large outdoor pool, The Rum Shack, a Caribbean Rum Shack themed poolside bar, gymnasium, tennis courts and an indoor heated pool.

There is a choice of two restaurants at the country club, Cottons Restaurant for an a-la-carte dining experience, flambé dishes being a specialty, and the less formal Douro Bar and Grill, themed around the famed Northern Portuguese wine and port region.

The menu includes grilled locally caught fish, succulent meats and a variety of other grilled specialties, cooked in the open air kitchen.
